I've never heard of the Stone Roses, but that sounds pretty good. 7.5/10 This can always make me feel a little happier

7/10 I agree it's really cheerful sounding. I like the instruments a bit better then the vocals and the video is interesting.

Re: Rate the song posted by the person above
I actually won't rate some songs in here since it wouldn't be fair to.
While I don't like some of the songs in this thread, it's mainly due to me not caring much for specific music genres as a whole - it doesn't mean that the songs are of low quality. Even when I hear music I don't like, I often can see why people would like it (if that makes sense).
My taste in music genres changes all the time. A few years ago, I was a metal-head. Now? Besides Black Sabbath, Opeth, and a few other bands, I hate dislike most metal, but I still find lots of metal bands to be of high-quality - I'd just rather listen to other genres.
Anyway, here's a song:
The Stone Roses - Bye Bye Badman

Re: Rate the song posted by the person above
I think everybody should rate the music subjectively seeing how if you ask one hundred people "What do you look for in music?" the answers would be completly spread out. I'm hoping people in this thread are confident enough in the subjectivety of music to the point that they won't let a low rating bother them. Ash - Clones 5/10 I didn't really get into it too much. The Stone Roses - Bye Bye Badman 7.5/10 It was really peaceful which is great. It contrasts with a lot of my music.

Ah, fuck it. I'll continue to rate songs. 1/10 I hate that style of electronic music. When it comes to electronic music, I mostly listen to dark stuff. Eminem - Who KnewWho knew I'd post a song like this?

Just to let you guys know:
I merged my old "Rate that song!" thread with this one since people were posting in it as well.

Ah shit... it says I'm the creator of this thread.
Hope Aconcit doesn't mind. Didn't think this would happen. It says I'm the one who created it since my thread was older than this one, so it put the posts from my thread to the front of this topic.

Re: Rate the song posted by the person above
Not bad, 6/10 , i like quite a few eminem songs, he has a very unique style comapred to most rappers, you can always expect him to come out with something that sounds "new" and "fresh"
dont ask me why there is a kenny in there, has nothing to do with the music >_>

Not my type of electronic music, so I'll have to give it a 3. Autechre - Gnit

Re: Rate the song posted by the person above
I don't mind the merge and I guess I didn't check for an existing rating topic. Since I'm not really into too much electronic music (or whatever you'd classify it as) I'll rate it 6/10. I like the build up but I guess I look for something more in songs. I do like electronic like this though.

Re: Rate the song posted by the person above
Very ambient and relaxing. I usually prefer spiritual music like that. It had some folk elements too. It gets a bit too repetitive with the ding-dong age of mythology style sound after a while, so it's just a 7/10 for me, but not bad.

2/10.
I don't really like any videogame music enough to listen to it other than while playing a game, but like everything else, there are exceptions (for example - I love the music from many Squaresoft RPGs).
Frank Sinatra - I've got you Under my Skin
