7/10.
Minnie Riperton - Perfect Angel
The only modern music I listen to are various indie bands/artists. I hate 99% of the radio-friendly bands/artists of today. But every year, at least a few good popular artists come out.
Since last year, the main stuff I've been listening to is vocal-oriented music from the 50's to the early 70's. It's weird though - I hardly listen to music anymore, but when I do, it's through headphones. I used to play music loudly through my speakers non-stop throughout the day.

6.5/10 It was decent but it's still not to my tastes. I was going to find a different opeth song but I really liked this video.

Though it isn't my favorite Opeth song, I like it quite a bit.

5/10. Last post in this thread for awhile. Re: Rate the song posted by the person above
i thought i saw chair say something about people here listening to the japanese equivalent of north-american top-40 pop but i don't see it anymore. i had a reply thought up and i'll still post it cuz i kind of resent that comment .__.
not that i know what plays on north american radio anyway. i guess i do have my alarm set to cbc radio 2 one when i wake up but that's hardly top 40 stuff. i just like my music mellow with catchy hooks. the japanese music i listen to would be somewhat the equivalent of indie music here, i think. except without the whiney douchebags in their neon plastic framed wayfarer glasses, unwashed t-shirts, tight pants et al. and i don't have to hear all the indie snobs preaching their pitchfork propaganda. i guess japanese indie music doesn't seem to have that stigma to me. but yea i like older north american indie music for that same fact, i can feel distanced from the whole scene.
jeff buckley - grace (7/10) i like jeff buckley but he's no tim dj krush - final home (8/10) i like da beats, not sure about the vocals. i notice the version you posted is the "vocal version", so i'm sure i'd like the normal one more and i rated that move - passenger seat (4/10) was hoping it would be the other move
some more of my radio friendly japanese pop:

7/10. Eminem - Marshall Mathers
I deleted my post since some people seem to think "pop" means "shit", when in reality, it doesn't. To me, a lot of the stuff which has been posted here sounds like stuff which, in North America, would be the equivalent of pop. There's nothing wrong with this. Other than the language difference, I don't see anything which would distinguish the two. And no... not everyone here has been posting "pop", but a lot have (or at least what I perceive as being pop).

9/10 - his first few albums were really good
There's no such thing as a shitty genre, every genre has its share of both brilliant musicians and crappy musicians.

5/10 - gets a bit repetitive for me
I'm generally unimpressed by pop artists but I find this remix pretty good.
