Firefly was an excellent SciFi series, but I think they're done making those :'( They did make a movie though, called Serenity, and it was awesome too.

I saw Serenity and thought it was ok, but then saw the original show and now it s my favourite program of all time. It s got everything, original characters, comedy, great effects and awesome action and drama. But most of all, it had no sound in space! The way it should be, i m so sick of sound in space in sci fi s.

The Shepherd made me smile a lot with his crazy big hair and some of Jayne s lines were hilarious, 'What you order a dead guy for?' But i think my favourite character was the bounty hunter Jubal Early in the last episode, that guy was the funniest character i ve ever seen and looked great in his skin tight red leather space suit.

I really don't watch as much TV as I used to, and the only ones I really keep up with now are Mythbusters, Jeopardy, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. As far as shows no longer on, my favorites would have to be Arrested Development, 12 oz. Mouse, Frisky Dingo, Spaced, and The Mole (but only when Anderson Cooper was hosting).

Arrested Development + Spaced = Excellent comedy taste

I rarely watch TV, but I got seasons 1 - 3 of the US Office. I actually laughed every episode, which is a huge thing for me.

Also, I'm completely and irrevocably addicted to Heroes.

That's my facebook list of TV shows, if i were to pick a favourite from that it'd probably be Free Agents or Green Wing. Stephen Mangan ftw!

Apologies in advance for you not recognising most of them :p

House, Untold stories of the E.R., Mystery Diagnosis, Diagnosis X(I'm a fan of doctor shows, hehe), Mythbusters, Eureka(though that's not on any more- still one of my favorites), the Universe, How It's Made, How it Works... I think that's about it...

I almost don't watch series, except a few cute/funny ones (Which I quite enjoy, but wouldn't pick as favourites I think). I spend most of my time on the public service channel, with mostly shows about gardens, nature, satire, documentaries and the news by one of the by far best news teams in Denmark (In my opinion, at least!). No commercials there, and no series. Instead I watched them online or otherwise, so I've been horrible at keeping up with what's new. My favourites are therefore quite random, but I'd pick (In no particular order): The Prisoner, The Twilight Zone, Band of Brothers, Twin Peaks, Dexter, Riget (Actually, this is my most favouritest, I think), eh, and probably a lot I can't remember right now.

The Shield was mentioned earlier, which I really enjoyed.
Top Chef on Bravo, Kitchen Nightmares, though I've only
seen the US version. Heard it sucks when compared to the
UK one. Family Guy's great. The O'Reilly Factor on FOX News
Channel's a great comedy show as well.

Two UK shows:
Skins (esp series 1 & 2) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skins_%28TV_series%29
Shameless http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shameless_%28TV_series%29

Image

One Aussie show:
Summer Heights High http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_heights_high

P.S. Flight of the Conchords was a huge flop in New Zealand (where the actors all come from). No one liked them much. The couldn't even get television airtime so they had to take their comedy overseas. Even now they might be famous in the US and elsewhere but nobody in NZ really cares and they mostly get ignored walking down the street, just as they did pre-Flight.

Mhh... my favorites. I don't follow them on TV here but I'm always buying the DVDs to enjoy them with English or German subs.

Angel (completed)
Buffy (completed)
Bones (season 1-3)
Lost (1-4)
Heroes (1-2)
Monk (1-6)
Queer As Folk (completed)
Six Feet Under (completed - best final ending I ever saw)
Supernatural (1-3)

Soon I'll buy Dexter, too. Can't wait for it. :]

It's not on anymore, but I insist on picking Arrested Development as my favorite show. Incredibly funny, highly recommend it.

I also like Grey's Anatomy, United States of Tara, Lost, 30 Rock and True Blood.

Oh, and among shows that have either ended, or were cancelled, I absolutely loved Six Feet Under, and I liked Dead Like Me, and Huff. I also used to watch Sex & the City, but I don't like it anymore :)

Season four of Heroes has gotten me back into the series (season three made me wtf a lot - I was lost!) I love Sylar :)

I was totally hooked on Dexter at one point. The first season was absolutely excellent, but I still haven't been able to get through the third season :/ Dexter's become all soft it seems.

Waiting for Supernatural to start again.

Lie To Me is interesting too. I watch it now and then. I discovered it when I was feeling pretty ill and it was showing a the whole boxset on tv all day.

***DEXTER SPOILER ALERT***

Rita started to take over :/

The suspense over his lost brother was amazing in the first season. He was such a good character - I was sad when he died.
