the Lone Ranger sold his wardrobe the Lone Ranger sold his bad dog well you saw him and you could hardly know cos times change.... I know some days he's more than humble on some days he's cold and mad, mad as hell well you saw him and you can hardly know it's so strange.... and well I, I know those lakes of golden water those lakes of gold are all running out well you saw him and you could hardly know it's so strange... and well I, I know
joy, joy, joy work, work, work harder sure as the hours joy, joy, joy work, work, work harder you say

| | | | Quote: You are here alone again In your sweet insanity All too calm, you hide yourself from reality Do you call it solitude? Do you call it liberty? When all the world turns away to leave you lonely The fields are filled with desires All voices crying for freedom But all in vain they will fade away There's only you to answer you, forever [ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/the-world-ly ... -sign.html ] In blinded mind you are singing A glorious hallelujah The distant flutter of angels They're all too far, too far to reach for you I am here alone again In my sweet serenity Hoping you will ever find me in any place I will call it solitude when all my songs fade in vain In my voice, far away to eternity | | | | |
so fuckin forever alone again lyrics

Counting Crows When i Dream Of Micheangelo: | | | | Quote: You know I don't like you but you wanna be my friend Well, there are bodies on the ceiling and they're fluttering their wings It's ok I'm angry, but you'll never understand When you dream of Michelangelo, they hang above your hands
And I know, she is not my friend And I know, cause there she goes Walking on my skin again
And I can't see why you'd want to talk to me When your vision of America is crystalline and clean I want a white bread life / just something ignorant and plain, But from the walls of Michelangelo I'm dangling again
And I know, she is not my friend And I know, cause there she goes Walking on my skin again and again
Saturn on a line Sun afire on strings and wires Spin above my head and make it right But any time you like You can catch a sight of angel eyes on emptiness and infinite
And I dream of Michelangelo when I'm lying in my bed I see god upon the ceiling/ I see angels overhead And he seems so close as he reaches out his hand We are never quite as close as we are led to understand
And I know, she is not my friend And I know, cause there she goes Walking, walking walking - And I know, she is not my friend And I know, cause there she goes Walking on my skin again and again (Oh my mind... Oh lord no... Yes she's walking on my skin again and again...)

Re: Post lyrics you can relate to
The curtains are drawn Now the fire warms the room. Meanwhile outside Wind from the north-east chills the air, It will soon be snowing out there.
And some there are Cold, they prepare for a sleepless night. Maybe this will be their last fight.
But we're safe in each other's embrace, All fears go out as I look on your face -
Better think awhile Or I may never think again. If this were the last day of your life, my friend, Tell me, what do you think you would do then?
Stand up to the blow that fate has struck upon you, Make the most of all you still have coming to you, [or] Lay down on the ground and let the tears run from you, Crying to the grass and trees and heaven finally on your knees
Let me live again, let life come find me wanting. Spring must strike again against the shield of winter. Let me feel once more the arms of love surround me, Telling me the danger's past, I need not fear the icy blast again.
Laughter, music and perfume linger here And there, and there, Wine flows from flask to glass and mouth, As it soothes, confusing our doubts.
And soon we feel, Why do a single thing to-day, There's tomorrow sure as I'm here.
So the days they turn into years And still no tomorrow appears.

Re: Post lyrics you can relate to
I hurt myself today to see if I still feel. I focus on the pain, the only thing that´s real. The needle tears a hole, the old familiar sting. Try to kill it all away, but I remember everything.
What have I become my sweetest friend? Everyone I know goes away in the end. And you could have it all. My empire of dirt. I will let you down. I will make you hurt.
I wear this crown of thorns upon my liar´s chair. Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair. Beneath the stains of time the feelings disappear. You are someone else. I am still right here.
What have I become my sweetest friend? Everyone I know goes away in the end. And you could have it all. My empire of dirt. I will let you down. I will make you hurt.
If I could start again, a million miles away, I would keep myself. I would find a way.
*****
I assume this must have been posted numerous times on this board. Actually I don't relate to it as much as I used to anymore, but the general feeling is still present.

Samael - Tribes of Cain
Profound is the pain from which is born deliverance Long is the path which leads to the light And you march alone ... Wash your hands in the blood Of the lamb Lick your punishment This stern eye you fear This condemning finger pointed at you Make them both part of your self Make one out of two And remember Regret is a worm born from your jealousy Someone lives on in the depths of your heart Fight your deepest feelings Deny your own existence It never heals, it never heals Opposing darkness to obscurity Doesn't lead anywhere Shine if you want to be Profound is the pain from which is born deliverance Long is the path which leads to the light ...

Re: Post lyrics you can relate to
This one because of the lines that sums me up pretty well.
Choronzon - Love, Strength: Lies
Sweet, demonic, current of remorse, yes, you are there. Dire circumstance of convictions: you wouldn't dare.
I feel the warm, hollow thrill of damnation when I follow you down when I cover my eyes, when I kiss the dying heat of your pilse.
Swollen tongues convulse with laughter, apparent, yet unknown. Fading beauty of structural divinity: evil designs of love.
You are forever the happy spectre of pathos, always hiding your strength, never, prayers rife with lies. Static void dispersing dead spirits, always hiding your strength, never, prayers rife with lies.

This used to be the song of an (personal) era for me:

Re: Post lyrics you can relate to
| | | | Quote: I scraped my knees while I was praying And found a demon in my safest haven Seems like it's getting harder to believe in anything Than just to get lost in all my selfish thoughts
I wanna know what it'd be like To find perfection in my pride To see nothing in the light I'll turn it off, in all my spite In all my spite, I'll turn it off
And the worst part is Before it gets any better We're headed for a cliff And in the free fall I will realize I'm better off When I hit the bottom
The tragedy, it seems unending I'm watching everyone I looked up to break and bending We're taking shortcuts and false solutions Just to come out the hero
Well, I can see behind the curtain (I can see it now) The wheels are cranking, turning It's all wrong, the way we're working Towards a goal that's non-existent It's not existent, but we just keep believing
And the worst part is Before it gets any better We're headed for a cliff And in the free fall I will realize I'm better off When I hit the bottom
I wanna know what it'd be like To find perfection in my pride To see nothing in the light I'll turn it off, in all my spite In all my spite, I'll turn it off Just turn it off Again, again, again
And the worst part is Before it gets any better We're headed for a cliff And in the free fall I will realize I'm better off When I hit the bottom (x2)
The lyrics are basically saying how you realize your better off being dead which is what I feel like all the time. I really can't stand living, but I don't want to hurt anyone by committing suicide, so I continue to live.
