The title says all.

My all-time favorite book series is Goosebumps by R.L. Stine

Second in line is the Resident Evil series by S.D. Perry

Favorite non-series books are Chainmail(Addicted to You) by Hiroshi Ishizaki and Missing(Spirited Away) by Gakuto Coda

Post Re: What Would You Says Is Your Favorite Book/Series?
Okay, I might have to add more as I remember gems I have forgotten right here and now, but here goes:
These are my favourite books:

George Zebrowski: “Sunspacers” trilogy
Dean Koontz: “Watchers”, “Strangers”
Lois Lowry: “The giver”

These are books I think highly of:
Sylvia Engdahl: “The far side of evil”, “Enchantress from the stars”
Warren Murphy & Molly Cochran: “World without end”
Eric Knight: “Lassie come home”
Julia Ecklar: ”Regenesis”
Stephen King: ”Pet sematary”, ”The fire starter”
Dean Koontz: ”One door away from heaven”, his books about Christopher Snow and Odd Thomas.
Frank Schatzing: ”The swarm”
Isaac Asimov: ”Nemesis” (+ all his short story collections)
Larry Niven: ”The Draco Tavern”

Other authors I should mention:
Jack McDevitt. John Saul. Brian Keene. Alan Dean Foster. Terry Pratchett.
I have probably forgotten some...

I read the Resident Evil series too! I liked it very much, because I'm a fan of the videogames but they are too long and I cannot finish anything that takes too long.
My most dear books are the ones from the sword of truth series by Terry Goodkind, because they are full of moral teachings and philosophical subject hidden in a new kind of fantasy setting (sorry, I tend to talk too much about things I like :p Sometimes I start talking like the pirate from the SCUMM bar in monkey island 1, the one advertising the game Loom :p One I start I really can't stop, even if I know that the people who I'm talking are not interested... maybe there's something wrong in my head :crazy ).
The Dune series by Frank Herbert is also one of my favorites...
And the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey (I even read some of her books in english, because not all of them were translated in italian :( )
The Shannara series by Terry Brooks (but I think the author has gone too far.. he continues to write stories and calling them "The *name of place/people/object* of Shannara", lol)
Last but not least, I even like Terry Pratchett (what a coincidence, three of my favourite writers are called Terry), because it can make me laugh no matter how much I am sad.
I usually try to find some series to read, because if I like the characters, I want to read more about them; and when I finish a series, I always feel depressed for about a week :fool

Terry Pratchett is fun. I really enjoy his Rincewind and Weatherwax books. Small gods and Pyramids were also great.

I was such a huge Pratchett fan when i was younger. I even met him once when i was 15, he signed my copy of Wintersmith. He was such a funny guy in person.

If you could call Dawkin's work a 'series' then that would rate highly for me.

Terry Pratchett is a genius and I love him and his books~

ah, my favorite trilogy though would have to be the Bartimaeus trilogy.
I also love Holly Black <3 Her books are so dark- yet amazingly beautiful.

The Trial by Kafka is my favourite book, though it's hard to pick just one. Ulysses is good too.

I also have a few Terry Pratchett books, Thief of Time, Going Postal and some other one, they are quite enjoyable. The only books I've read are the ones I've mentioned, the Twilight series by Stephanie Myers and the Harry Potter series. I also read some of the hitch hiker books but i got slightly bored of them. I'm planning on buying the Nightwatch, Daywatch, Twilight Watch and Last Watch books by Sergey Lukyanenko because I liked the films. Its the main reason I buy books , I watch the film, research it and find out there are books for the unreleased sequels so I just buy them to find out what happens next heh.

Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein is one of my favs. I love the way it looks at society from an outside perspective. Such a great thinker.

I have more than one: Anne Rice's "The Vampire Chronicles" series, Kim Harrison's "The Hallows" series, Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" series. I also really liked the "Twilight" series & I love Sarah Waters' books, though they're not a series.

My favorite series is Kim Harrison's "The Hallows"series. Her newest book in the series comes out on February 23, & I can't wait :D
My favorite until I started reading Kim Harrison about a year & a half ago was Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" series. But most of the last five or so, or even more, of the books have been so sexual in nature that there wasn't even a story & it basically just turned her series into porn. One of the few newer books, "The Harlequin" was the first genuinely good book LKH has had in that series in a while, that didn't revolve around sex. I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Anita Blake series, but it's hard to read the newer books. I don't mind sex, but sometimes, too much is just too much. That's what I love about Kim Harrison, she focuses more on the story & less on sex.
Another of my favorite series, which will probably be my all-time favorite, regardless of anything else I ever read, is Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles."
I also recently began reading the "Sookie Stackhouse" series by Charlaine Harris, & they'll probably end up being one of my favorite series, too.

My favorite book is A Winters Haunting by Dan Simmons. It is so awesomely good. Zombies/ghosts/murder/god/mystery/depression/etc

My favorite series might seem a little childish but it is the Artemis Fowl series. So many different fantastical things packed into one series. What's not to love.

Sci-fi authors: Larry Niven, Daniel F. Galouye, Douglas R. Mason, Tony Daniel, Isaac Asimov
Miscellaneous authors: R.A. Salvatore, Weis and Hickman duo (the ones who endlessly collaborate on Dragonlance crap), Ryu Murakami, Lady Murasaki, Henry David Thoreau, Farnoosh Moshiri, Franz Kafka, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Edgar Allan Poe...

Most recently reading all of Poe's short stories and poems, "Metaplanetary" by Tony Daniel. Recently finished "Famous Suicides of the Japanese Empire" by David Mura, Dark Elf trilogy (Homeland, Exile, Sojourn) by R.A. Salvatore.

Also I love Tolkein. I devoutly inhaled The Silmarillion after picking it up for something like two dollars at a yard sale.

My favourite books are Peter Pan and A Clockwork Orange at the moment. Possibly Jäniksen vuosi (The year of the hare). Of series, I think I'll go for LOTR and Hitchiker trilogy (the only trilogy with five parts!) mostly out of nostalgia.

I like A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess and The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I like more books but recently those are my favorite. My other favorites are a bunch of manga. I'm also a fan of some books on philosophy but I hate naming titles because then I start to think if I really like them or not so I'll stick to saying manga and philosophy.

I would have to say Jim Butcher's Dresden Files is my favourite book series. There is something about a wizard detective that is just awesome.

My favourite quote:
Eldest Brother: "Likest thou jelly within thy doughnut?"
Harry Dresden: "Nay, but prithee, with sprinkles 'pon it, and frosting of white."
Context: The eldest brother is about to kill Harry.

Not to mention the whole "Let's control the zombie T-Rex with Polka."

The A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin. My favorite book is probably the third one, A Storm of Swords, but I also really liked a Feast for Crows as well. I'm like the one person who did.

Individual book, probably Orlando by Virginia Woolf.
