I was talking to Chair about my amazing Star Wars/cornbread dream and he suggested that I make a topic like this.

My last dream was about Dann, Vihn, and I(myspace friends) forming a mafia family consisting of more myspace friends and their cousins and taking over New England.

That's all I remember. haha.

A lot of my dreams feature architecture and fantastical, enormous, art-deco buildings.

I can't remember what my last dream was about, but I still remember one of my favourite dreams quite vividly. In the dream, I was on the beach with hundreds of other people. The sun was beaming down on us, and everything seemed fine. Suddenly, everyone was overcome by a sudden panic, a fear of some strange invisible force coming from the sea. People started running away from the beach and into the city, where they hid in buildings. I had no idea what as going on, so I decided to do the same. Eventually, I found myself in some sort of art-gallery. It had grand wooden staircases, with beautiful oil paintings on the walls, so I assume it was an art-gallery of some sort. There must have been 30 or so other people in the building with me, and later that night, I decided to explore the building (as I couldn't sleep). As I approached one of the landings of one of the staircases, I saw that someone else was also awake - a girl whom I recognized from school. She was illuminated by the moonlight streaming in through a large skylight just above the landing - and I decided to talk to her. We spoke for a couple of minutes, and everything seemed to be going well - until Iasked her for an explanation as to what was happening. She became irritated, and spit back at me "Maybe if you communicated more, you would know what was going on!". I was quite taken a-back and shocked by her reply. A short while later, a lad whom I also recognized from school, came walking up the staircase to the landing where the girl and I where standing. I asked him for an explanation, but he just started talking about how interesting it would be to map the movement of the people fleeing to mathematical functions, and started talking at length about Chaos theory, which I thought was extremely funny - I actually laughed in the dream at this point.

Hahaha!

I woke up with very sore legs and feet. PROTIP: Don't run down mountains!



I wasn't exactly sure of that myself at the time I had the dream, but here is what our dear old friend Mr Wikipedia has to say on the matter:

"Chaos theory is a branch of mathematics which studies the behavior of certain dynamical systems that may be highly sensitive to initial conditions. This sensitivity is popularly referred to as the butterfly effect. As a result of this sensitivity, which manifests itself as an exponential growth of error, the behavior of chaotic systems appears to be random. I had an awesome dream last night. I organised a footrace with my friends through our old school and in the style of mariokart. So beforehand, i scattered various items that we could use along the race route, like a rubber hammer or things to throw at each other to slow down ur competitors so u could overtake them.

Wow, this is starting to sound strange but i swear it was so much fun when i dreamt it, i really want to act it out in reality now.

That sounds like a lot of fun actually - you should try acting it out sometime! Maybe you'll start a nation-wide trend

I had a go-kart once...well, it wasn't exactly a proper go-kart, it was essentially just a metal plate with an engine attached to it (i.e. it didn't have any plastic paneling/bumpers). Still, it was fun - and could go surprisingly fast!

Last night I dreampt that I was a teenager, and my parents kept me locked in a cellar with my younger sister. We tricked our father into coming into the cellar so I could shoot him with a bow, and then we escaped and I got married.

I was in my childhood home in Ohio, when the doorbell rang. I opened the door, and on the doorstep was an overweight girl. But she had her shirt pulled up so it only covered her head. I looked at her for a second and said "...Yeah?" and she pointed a gun at me. I slammed the door quickly and ran into the living room, and jumped behind the couch. It was a curvy couch, that had a spot behind it in the corner of two walls where my parents always told me to hide should we ever have an intruder. I tried to call 911 like they told me I should do in that situation, but my cell phone had no reception. It wasn't until I woke up that I recognized whose body that was...it was mine.

That's freaky!

I had a dream once where I got shot in the forehead at close range in my 3rd grade gym class... It was so real, I could even feel a lot of pressure where the "bullet" had entered my head. I woke up just after with a headache. That's really the only time I've ever had a dream in which I get seriously hurt like that.. it has stuck with me for nearly 8 years now.

Most of the time I have XXX dreams, may be because I have the need during my real life and I can't get it. But some days ago I had a weird dream that made me feel so confused:

I was in an orchard trying to smoke bees to get honey, the smoke didn't worked and I had to run away because bees started to chase me, then I reached a barbed wire fence and I tried to surpass it kneeling... the barbed wire stuck in my back and the pain was unbearable, so I tried to get rid of it and I realized that that movement in my dream made me sit on my bed on real life and I was still feeling the intense pain for just some seconds. Of course in real life I wasn't feeling any pain. But the dream was so intense.

I started growing a Hitler mustache and I had a pack of huskies that i had trained to take over wall street. They would than run the whole American economy and make me rich. It was a flawless plan.

This wasn't my last dream, that one was a bit uninteresting, but I really liked this one from a few days ago~

I was trapped in a futuristic sci-fi looking castle, there was a man and his henchmen. The man was heading to me to find the thing I was hiding. I was actually hiding two things, in my hands I had a pyramid shaped crystal which was responsible for me to enter and leave the world, and on the floor under a ledge was a bag of egg shaped crystals. I had a choice to either sacrifice the pyramid or let him find the eggs. The eggs had taken me and my group a while to collect, from each different world, but the pyramid was the only one of its kind. I panicked and decided fast to sacrifice it, I dropped it and he picked it up looking satisfied with himself. It worked, he didn't bother looking if I had anything else hidden. I hoped my group would find me soon and defeat him so we could get it back, otherwise I was trapped in the world forever.

I think he killed me, the scene changed to me being on a giant tree with stairs going through and around it, the tree was surrounded by water and I knew I had to wait here to be reincarnated, or something...

I will post whatever I remember when I wake up too, unless it's boring or too incoherent to put into words :3 I love dreams.

Last night I had a dream about a succubus.....

That's all I remember, I think I did something in the dream to piss her off and I woke up after that.

I dreampt I'd started work at some boring old office but there was suddenly some chick there who made it worth working there. hopefully my future? >_>

My last dream was one of those weird dreams where I dream about my day. You know where I wake up and take a shower and go to work and work for like 3 or 4 hours... then I wake up... and I realize I have to actually do that.

the last dream i realized was about me and a girl that i dream of very often. you could say shes my imaginary dreamgirlfriend. funny thing is i can never recall how she looks. most ppl in my dreams do not really look like someone, their faces are just like water or something like that (or like a template videogame character with no textures). but i can always tell who is who because of their actions and choice of words. only abominations got a look i can remember, funny isnt it? anyways my last dream was not very interesting it was only about me and that girl holding me close to her, i could feel the warmth of her body what made me sleep about an hour longer than planned and i missed my bus to the city...
but while were at it, have you realized that sometimes after your deep sleep phase you are kind of aware that you are dreaming but you are still not really awake. its my favourite dreamtime, sometimes i can also change theese kind of dreams to my will. i.e. i realize that im dreaming of that girl again while she is holding me in her arms i could change easily to push her away from me and shout at her (not that it would make the dream any better ^^) or teleport the scene to another background like a sea i can remember. but if i think to much of the dream i will awake and its over. do you know situations like this?

I was trying to find my documents pinned somewhere in this school I've never actually been to. But when I found it, people kept bothering me even though I wanted to read it so badly...

I was in a group of Jedi Knights, one of which was Lady Gaga. We were trying to stop a company that was illegally building sex robots. I remember at one point brandishing my lightsaber at one of the company goons and screaming "YOU CANNOT DO THIS IN THE REPUBLIC!". I also remember watching Lady Gaga text someone (apparently Jedis have cell phones, who knew?) and talking to her about coffee.

I wonder what Freud would have to say about that? Heh.

I had a dream I had 10 messages on HikiCulture. This was pretty hectic because I've always hated keeping up conversations on PM, I like IM better.

I had a dream where I finally got the girl I've been "chasing" for years to un-friendzone me and start dating me. It was pretty much the best dream I've ever had...

probably something like: lol xD

Since I remember, 80% of the time I dream one of these situations:

Being in a bathtub and dissolving, being six feet under and having plants grow through me (both situations are very peaceful and unrealistic, I don't die but I am still there chilling as liquid or plants) and getting hit by helicopter blades (this one sucks big time).

The last dream I had was with the bathtub. I guess the deeper meaning is I should take a bath?

This is one I had two nights ago: I got attacked by a Thunderbird in my dream. It was huge; looked like a big ass Eagle, except it had lightning rotating around it. It chased me up my driveway, shooting lightning bolts at me. I wonder what that means...

last night in my dream i found a tiny little black and white kitten who had wandered next to my apartment and into another strays territory. he was going to be killed so i brought him inside. i don't really know if it was a boy or not just using the generic he. he was so cute and fragile.
