Hello! I'm comicgreen and I'm 18. I'm an anime addict and of course, Welcome to the NHK is one of my favorites. I started to be reclusive when we moved to the US. I used to spend all my time watching anime 24/7, only leaving my computer to get food (I eat in front of my PC! ) and go to the bathroom. Nice to meet you all!

My name is Daniel and i used to be a hikikomori on and off throughout high school and college. i then got into a relationship with a chinese girl and fell in love... I lived with her for a year but then my old habits of distrust in other people and desire to "nest up' in my home with her caused much trouble. Finally i realized I wants making her happy so I left her and ran away to Georgia and quit college half way through the year. I became full time Hikikomori for a year until something incredible happened....... I now enjoy good grades in school and even got accepted into a Tokyo University... only 2 more days until I leave. I want to share that incredible experience with the heart of the Hikikomori culture.... Japan.

Sounds alot like me comicgreen; anime is where I first heard of the term "hikikomori" (though I hadn't got around to watching NHK yet, but I've heard of it). I only eat in front of my PC too, I have a small cozy room in my house I set aside as my computer room where I spend like 80% of my awake time (though I even have slept in the chair from time to time so meh) ;3

I'm Zephy. I'm from germany and I'm 23 now, had "true" hikki phases where I would literally not leave the house for weeks and months, nowdays I go out sometimes (to buy supplies[living alone], or jogging[but only in the middle of the night hidden by the darkness at like 1-4am when I can be sure no one will be there/will be able to see me!!]).
I'm kind of a mess and out of control with a lot of diagnosed disorders(Borderline shizo bad eating disorder and more) but somehow I'm still there trying to find ways to hopefully make improvements o_o
Liking games, anime, comps, j rock (big surprise!).

Interesting to find a place with so many people to relate to... So, um... Hi :)
