Post Re: Living In Fictional Worlds
Well, first of all the world of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) everything in there is just so freaking beautiful! :).

Also i think the Evangelion world, i would be interested in the psychology of the characters (especially Rei and Asuka...).
Also the world of Invisible Monsters, there's just something about it's atmosphere and mood and "colors" and the characters... i always kind of wanted to do a road trip. Also the world of Sweeney Todd (Tim Burton version), all of it, the colors, theme, people, era... just love it. I would enjoy witnessing the duel of geniuses in Death Note (more Light/L for me however), as well as the world of The Hitchiker's Guide to the universe, also the House universe, it would be interesting seeing and interacting with House and the other geniuses.

Plus others i can't think of right now.

Post Re: Living In Fictional Worlds
Personally, I'm a big fan of the dark sci-fi-world created by manga-artist Tsutomu Nihei, as in "Noise", "Blame" or "Biomega", where humans are seldom to be found and everything consists of nothing more than seemingly endless structures, since this how I look at it somehow anyway and can lose myself completely in these works.

The idea of been given such a neat self-repairing cyborg body and traveling forever through the vast megastructure seems quite appealing to me, but nevertheless would my own perfect fictional world best be pictured as in the "Matrix" movie or the anime series "Serial Experiments Lain". Complete detachment from the plain physical world, entering another one where nothing but the mind matters, roaming free of these bonds and shortcomings and everything is compressed, to what is in my opinion consists of: strings of data.

If I'm reading Detective Conan I'm always wishing that I have turned into a child and could help Conan to hunt the Black Organisation. And I could go to the elementary school together with Conan's friends and enjoy their adventures together. ...
I can relate to this in a way, but it's not like I'd cheer for certain characters or such. However, I feel more like walking along and often begin to question myself "How would you react in this situation?" and alike.

Yes, I do. In fact, books are even more appealing to me than a movie, since the movie already consists of fixed pictures and linear viewing angles. Imagining a world only out of written words always allows it to change these and multiplies the options by a thousandfold.
A shame that I didn't take my time to read at least a single good book in the recent. I'd need, at any rate, twice to three times the amount of monitors, eyes and time for all the stuff I want to do. :mad

LttP's version of Hyrule. I love those colors. And maybe I'd slip into the dark world to experience a one eyed giant throwing bombs at me.

Other than that....maybe Morrowind, although only if a call for the extermination of Cliff Racers is established.

Yes I do this all the time!
there are a few places in mind that I have fantasized about living in several times over the years..

Raven's homeworld.. from season 1 episode 6 "Nevermore" of the Teen Titans.

and also this world from an Mortal Kombat game. (always loved it.. and when meditating.. I think of this world and I as it's "guardian")

and pretty much any Star Wars planet will do. (Not Tatooine)
preferably the planet home to the Rakata

Well, the anime Black Lagoon is one of my favourite fictional world i want to live in. I would replace that pussy Rock (god, I hate that guy) and become Revy's best friend. xDDD I just love psychotic women. :crazy

But there are many more worlds i would love to live in. Does anyone know the novel "Anathem" by Neal Stephenson?
It would be so awesome to visit Arbre (the planet's name) as a descent from earth's habitants and finally stay on Arbre for the rest of my life.

Gantz... Even if I got 100 points I would keep playing. Especially now that I get the context of how the game works.
They underused the trap gun.

Ninja scroll as Jubei's companion ninja.

Grappler Baki as Yujiro Hanma's third son who starts off as the weakest but watches Yujiro, Baki, and Jack to get strong as Yujiro faster than the other two.

Guyver... as an escaped Zoalord who found the second unit and it's damage was repaired by it merging with my Zoalord powers. I'd help the good guys.

Kiddy Grade as Lumiere's boyfriend. Eclair would probably cheat on me. Or Alv's boyfriend because she was just the tomboyish type.

Anne Rice Vampire/Mayfair series.... I'd be a Taltos converted to a Vampire by Lestat after he drank the blood of Christ.

Star Wars... Lost descendant of Mace Windu and one of the female Jedi.

Eric Van Lustbader Ninja series... orphaned boy who is of the blood of the Messulethe and taught Akshara and Kshira but the tanjian masters.

Or Armitage's or Major Kusanagi's boyfriend because they are both tough cyborg women who are kind of removed from society themselves.

Bleach as a Vizored ....

Comics as Superboy Prime with the Anti-Monitor armor

Yeah.. I'm pretty screwed in the head

I'd like to live as Madotsuki in Yume Nikki.

Then I realize I'd kill myself.

I day dream about being in my favorite anime as the main character, just living out the series but making small changes here and there.

Best example would be the anime series shuffle! (I would have changed the ending and went with the demon princess)

Somehow... I created a day like that ^^'
When I was younger, I mean... I stood up in the morning, watched Hell Girl for example and tried to think about the person I would curse for a whole day. Or acted like L for a whole day. :hot

So I kind of just sit there and talk to my pillow and act like my room is my apartment. :drool

That's pretty much my life ideal, having someone to work with so we can incentive each other to work and create (somewhat of a muse), I know some people that could do it, but they don’t. Even together they are always apart, futile endeavors, or just lack of complicity.

And also would love to live in a small and cozy place, in peace. I have the two cats, am i half way there? :p

And this as well… as an “artist” I create my own worlds, so many possibilities, no limits or just the ones I want applied. Movies, games, books, mangas, music… sure I use it all as an escape, but my own worlds, my own characters… it feels so different. Ahhh boring reality indeed.

5.27Am tired... :confused

Genshiken anime in the world was definitely fun especially if dodzinsi hentai part.
Star Trek interesting universe. The main thing there is sex.
For a harem might Strawberry 100%
Golden Boy,
Futari Ecchi
Time of Eve
These are just options to chose something not exactly know. Especially not the whole list.
Although not against the world of anime Welcome to the NHK. There are many interesting characters. The world almost as real. But it's only anime. The reality is much worse.

It is better to create your own reality completely, with my best ideas, you will feel that you got there exactly where you have to be. With nothing better for you can not exist. Reality is not for everyone, especially if you can not fully exist in it.

Ever since I was little I've always wanted to live in Halloween town from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Seriously, does this place not look like an insanely awesome place to live? <3
