Post your drawings and doodles in here
If you've got any drawings to share, post them in here! I'll start by posting this picture of a car I copied from a book cover (not traced, copied by eye - hence the bad proportions). It's the first 'real' drawing that I have done in...oh, years - and I am pretty pleased with how it worked out.

Re: Post your drawings and doodles in here
Wow that s really good. I always wished i was better at drawing, but i m afraid my artistic talents didn t stretch much further than doodling offensive characitures of my teachers and classmates in my schoolbooks.

Re: Post your drawings and doodles in here
Thanks for the compliments, Hypnos! Regarding the comment you made about your artistic talent not stretching far, I just have one thing to say: You are an artist! Except, you paint with words, with a palette of rhythm and imagery, and a brush of creative flair and writing talent! You could be the next poet laureate Never stop writing. Anyway, to get the thread back on topic - I'll post some doodles I drew using my Wacom tablet. Bare in mind that the below doodles are the first doodles I've ever done using a graphics tablet. I really need to learn how to draw first though, before I try to jump into digital art... brofist! sketches

Re: Post your drawings and doodles in here
wow ceasium those drawings are excellent , especially since they are your first. My first wacom drawings were horrible and still are to be honest. I like to draw ( or at least try to draw) anime but i never realy learned basic anatomy or anything the proper way. Anyways here is a picture i finished yesterday , i am mostly pleased with it except for the ears being misaligned. I don't draw straight onto the wacom , because its too hard and i just don't like it, first i draw something on paper in usually biro then scan it into photoshop and use my wacom for touching up and colouring. This is my deviant art account if you wanna look at some other stuff ive done , its nothing impressive but tell me what you think ^^ http://strangevoices.deviantart.com/

Re: Post your drawings and doodles in here
Hey I really like that picture I can't do any colouring yet...as soon as I have less schoolwork, I'll start drawing a lot more. It's a great hobby - it's good to do something creative to keep the imagination going, and it's the sort of hobby that you can enjoy almost anywhere!

Re: Post your drawings and doodles in here
Hey thanks guys :]. I looked at your deviant art by the way xblacky, and I think you draw well already! The shading looks really nice . Anatomy is so tough to learn. I can't draw humans too well from my mind, so I usually copy from photos :P.

Whoa! That stuff is really cool! I especially liked the one of the dog, the colors are really nice. I like to draw. I mostly draw people from movies... I watched Equilibrium and I loved it so much, straight after I finished the movie I drew John Preston.

Re: Post your drawings and doodles in here
@ Hitori - I like especially the first picture (Sumi-e) - but the other works are nice, too. =D @ Carruthers - I thought first it was Kevin Bacon. But it's Christian Bale (after I googled). Really good drawing. The hairs look so real! ^__^b
