Opera for serious things, like shopping online, bank-stuff, forums etc. FF (atm 7.01) for other stuff, like chan or torrenting. I sometimes use a Tor-project FF when I feel paranoid or distrusting, for added anonymity. All the add-ons for FF can be a good thing, most of them are useful. But too many of them can slow FF down.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
Switched to Waterfox today. Basically the same as Firefox, but originally designed for 64-bit use. All Plugins used in Firefox also work, bookmarks, styles etc will also be used. Seems pretty stable so far and I noticed a significant boost in speed. However, if you feel like looking into it, please notice that Waterfox makes heavy usage of your RAM. Official project site: http://waterfoxproj.sourceforge.net/

Re: What web-browser do you use?
Update: I noticed some compatibility issues regarding flash related stuff, since 64-bit flash wasn't designed to be used with anything less than Win7. Most logical thing: installing Win7. Was it worth it? Hell yeah.
Just with some random stuff, Waterfox already devours the massive chunk of ~300 MB RAM, however the felt growth in speed is at least a tremendous 90-125%, when running under full 64-bit support. Perfectly stable and except for the flash-issue compatible with everything else.

Mozilla Firefox. It is not something I like, always something sometimes glitches. I use it very long, and I can not refuse it, go for the best web-browser. I've become dependent on it.

Currently I'm using Lunascape. It got tripple rendering engines! Very good. It is not so populer, so needs support.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
I've been using Chrome these days. Doesn't seem to get me infected with so many unwanted cookies as Firefox. It seems faster too (I can't be sure of this).
@fraktale, now I'm curious to look into this 64-bit Firefox... hmm.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
Waterfox is currently up to version 9, but I'm still using 8.0.1, waiting to see if some bugs might occur and am extremely pleased with it. Positive about it: You can just install it on top of your current Firefox setup, without messing it up, test around a bit and later uninstall it without any problems, if you don't like it.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
Pale Moon, which is a custom-built and optimized Firefox-based browser. Firefox was working like shit for me, so I figured I'd try something else out. Pale Moon is noticeably faster than Firefox was. I think I'll stick to using it.

Google Chrome, I'm happy with it since all the others in my past have messed up or became generally annoying for whatever reason.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
I'm using Waterfox and have had absolutely no issues. It's much faster than Firefox 32-bit or Firefox's 64-bit Nightly version. Just be sure to get 64-bit plugin versions of Flash, Silverlight and Java.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
Used Firefox for years. It's getting slower, more bloated, less compatible with my favourite sites. Just generally unreliable an a pain in the arse.
I try Opera from time to time but it's often incompatible with my sites.
IE I loathe
There's any number of other options but now ...
I've discovered Pale Moon. It's just Firefox but optimized for Windows and modern processors. It flies, it renders correctly every site I've visited recently, all my favorite Firefox extensions and themes seem to work fine. And it's just like Firefox to use, but without waiting and cursing.
If you like Firefox, you're love Pale Moon. See here.

Re: What web-browser do you use?
I use Chrome. It works perfectly fine, so I don't bother with any other browsers.
